spring training promotions?? Topic

i am currently in st are you better off waiting to call players up say from hiA to AA after st? will i get a bigger promotion push if i wait or doesn't it matter?

Don't think it matters if it's promotions across MiL levels.

The only time it does is if you plan to bring a guy up to the majors to start the season.  Then, you would want to wait until ST ends.  Just for the unlikely event that he gets injured during ST.  You would not want him to start accruing ML service time while on the DL.

what i mean is if i promote a player during spring training then they don't get an opening day push, so if i promote them during st would there push be the same if i wait til they get there opening day push?

It's just an update of where the ratings are.  If you wait for "Opening Day", and then promote them right after, it won't show up either because it's not a bump in ratings.
