17 original owners still remain from the inaugural 1975 season. The league is well run and has been competitive from the start. Nearly every franchise currently has a competitive team. The Houston franchise is not a rebuilding project, there are several pieces to work with. Houston has only had one non-winning season, back in the league's first year (1975) and even in that season they won 78. I think it's a good opportunity to see what you can do with them as you aren't getting an elite team, but you aren't getting a bad one either. This team would be a terrific starting point to see if you can build them into champions!
