Is it more challenging to win a DIII championship? Topic

Considering how competitive DIII is in Naismith, do you think it is more of a challenge to win a DIII championship in this world than it is to win a DII or DI championship?  In real life, the higher the level, the greater the competition, but in Naismith in HD, the pyramid of competition seems inverted.  I have not played at the higher levels, though, so I do not speak from broad experience.  What do the more experienced coaches think?

Never won it all at either level, but I'd think d3 is easier to win than d1 (in Naismith and in general)...

Some basketball junkies believe that D-III is a purer game, even in real life. Players are just as passionate about winning, and improving their game; coaches are just as dedicated, and fans are just as devoted as on any other level. Granted, the D-I and D-II players are better athletes overall, but the D-III player is a true scholar athlete, who's not playing to make it to the NBA; he's playing for the shear love of the game and the opportunity to get an education. Many of the best coaches are found in D-III, and most D-I and D-II coaches were once D-III coaches or players. Also, In the real world D-III athletes do not get full-ride scholarships.

I had several D2 teams at one point and I ventured into D1 once for several seasons.  I would like to think that if I stayed in D2 I would have had a shot or two at a title.  D1 seemed to be the toughest.  It is harder to build a program at D1 and it is very easy to have a bad recruiting season that can put your program back several seasons.

I had 8 teams at one time and I gave them all up for the two D3 conferences I enjoy the most: Naismith Freedom, and IBA Heartland.  It makes all the difference in the World if you are in an active, fun conference, with great coaches.  And if you stay around long enough you might win a title or two, or three, or hopefully more.  Like they say, even a blind squirrel can find a nut every once in a while.

DIII is even across the board so there is parity.  If you work your way up to a Big 6 DI team then you can win.  It is almost impossible otherwise.  I wouldn't necessarily say a DIII championship is tougher, but there are more teams which can be competitive.  However, you have to be a good coach to even get a Big 6 DI school so the competition is very tough at that level.

D3 championship is much easier to win. There's a lot more new players, and even in stronger worlds, basically a handful of coaches who consistently dominate that world. (And even in D3 Naismith, which has more human coaches than most D3 worlds, there are still more sims in D3 than there are in D2.)

Can someone give me a NT bid breakdown in D3? I want to add a team in this world but besides knowing that capital and freedom are full, and a couple of other conf are nearly full, I have no idea what kind of tourney cash the various conf are bringing in.

Specifically, I'm interested in knowing who coaches in University Conf, Northwest Conf, Iowa IAC, ASC, and CCIW, and how much cash each conf got (estimates are fine, or simply how many NT bid they got).

Thx.
