Normally I rank prospects using the formula tool, but I read in one of the Dev chats that the target weights have something to do with the quantity of players from certain positions that your scouts actually scout. So I guess if you were to put a high weight on pitching prior to the 'prepare for draft' date, my draft board would then contain mostly pitchers. Am I understanding this correctly? Or no?
I think I've probably read that wrong because you can't use both the formula tool and the weights. The formula tool is only used when you already have your list of prospects so I imagine (and always did prior to reading the dev chat) the weight tool is a post-scouting tool also.
