Just wanted to put up a small plug for the MIAC (Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, D3 -Tark) for anyone looking to add a team. We have 5 owners who have been there for 9+ seasons, including one owner with 25 seasons and 1 original owner. Our 6th owner is entering his third season in the MIAC.

While we have a good core of committed owners, we haven't been able to fill the entire conference (yet). Particularly in the East, I am lonely as the other two long-term owners who had been there left for financial reasons.

Some of the available teams are relatively young, but some are ready to win immediately, too. 

If, for example, you wanted to take over a team and win early (hopefully to boost prestige and then stick around for a bit), Augsburg is coming off a 9-7 conference record under the SimAI and boasts a superclass of 7 seniors this coming year. Similarly, St. Scholastica is coming off a 8-8 conference record under the SimAI and boasts 6 seniors and 10 total upperclassmen this coming season. Finally, Concordia, Morehead had (this past season) only two scholarship freshman (sophomores-to-be) and has (this coming season) 8 seniors!

If you're looking for a younger team you can really put your own stamp on, a squad like Bethel or Carleton may be for you.

25 Seasons????  That's like $300!!!  Who is this crazy person!  It's a great conference.  A friend of mine (clayts) introduced me to WIS, and the MIAC.  I'm never leaving.

$300 is a ton... until I think about how much I've spent on WIS over the years, between SLB, HBD, and now HD. Geez!
