While Seble's changes to the game engine have been great, his changes in recruit generation are killing the overall game.

RAWR. I am seblezilla. hear me roar!

in all seriousness, i think he is punishing us for complaining, with this latest round of recruit generation "fixes".

Is anyone ever happy with the recruits here?

people were reasonably happy with recruits before potential... of course, there was always the complaint that there were no elite players. but that was a sort of low grumbling, at least in comparison. also, after seble fixed potential the first time, it was in pretty good shape, and stayed in pretty good shape for a while there. still, the same complaint, about no elite players - but i also feel that was low grumbling. i can't remember a time when everybody was 100% happy but that is an unreasonable goal. so i would say, in general, yes - people once were happy. but for the first 10 months of potential, and in the entirety of the new engine, i think the answer is no.

i really don't think this is a user problem here. i can't see how seble hopes to balance recruiting universally, in a real world scenario, without having teams all over the place. maybe he does, but i really, really doubt it...

I think recruit generation is fine, and I have teams at all 3 levels and have a low level BCS team which is basically a mid major. I have never thought there was much wrong with the recruits and always felt it was more of people's unwillingness to adjust to the recruits rather than the recruits just being poor.
