How do you feel when join a league that was promoted as No Clone and after it starts you discover that there are one or more teams with clones ? Than WIS won't do anything about it.  Should it be " no big deal " ?  Or should you be concerned that the No Clone league is in fact a league with clones ?

Is there a rule about this.  Such as forfeiture.  Or is it something that is just going to happen ?

I think there is some kind of default penalty for roster violations. Something about 500k...i don't know.
Personally I think clones are just a cosmetic issue. You're really just drafting a set of numbers with a name attatched to them, so I don't think the quality of the game play is affected (effected?) in any way. No unfair advatage talent wise, just bad cosmetics. So, as Uncle Al said, your best bet is to ignore the name for the time being and simply not join his leagues any more.

What did the commish do when you told him????

My only complaint abut Comishes are when they do not follow their rules.  Youronly recourse is as uncleal suggests.

Unless it's like an uncapped franchise league or something.       

I was in 2 No Clone leagues ... League #1 .. The commish wouldn't even comment.  He waited until a few days left in season and than acknowledged that there was a problem.  I had contacted WIS, because the commish wouldn't help.  The playoffs have been scheduled, no forfeitures have been made, both violators are in the running and would be effected if adjustments were made.  The commish spoke up and said don't worry WIS will take care.  It has created a lot of unhappiness.

League #2 ... Season just stated .. the clone violator in this league is same as one of the violators in League # 1.  The commish in this league got very upset with me about bringing attention to the fact the guy has clones.  He says having a B. Ruth player and a B. Ruth pitcher is not a clone and I should not put my nose in his league business.  I believe 2 Ruth's, in any fashion is cloning. Nothing has been done so far.

WIS is pretty non-chulant in both cases.

If you are in a NO Clones pitchers & players league.  Does anyone feel it is OK to have a B.Ruth player & B. Ruth pitcher ?  This is my problem in 1 league.

Not OK. It's the same player. therefore it's a clone. No clones means no clones, period.

Call out the commish in the forums, then nobody will join his leagues again.

There are two problems here. First, obviously, is that the league founder is not policing his (or her) own rules. The second and ongoing problem is that the way the "theme wizard" works (or doesn't) for setting up leagues, it is not possible (in my experience) to set it up to prevent owners from drafting clones for both players and pitchers. You wind up with the draft blocking clones in one or the other, or not at all. I have no idea why WIS Admin hasn't fixed that.
