Most SV for a D3 pulldown Topic

What's the most SV anyone has ever sent to pulldown in D3. I am already over 20 SV on a player with A+, and he's yet to be pulled down.

I did 28 or 29 once, but that was to get a guy who was considering a D2 sim.

I did 35 in 4 cycles and finally got a guy. He was 100% worth it too.

I'll add that my guy was definitely worth the money as well.  Turned into one of the top 2 post players in Knight D3 by the time he graduated.

I'm at 25 right now with an A+ against a D2 sim and I've got nothing.

my guy is undecided. I have never gone past 16 before. Maybe his high rating is making it more difficult.

Or somebody else is trying to pull him down at the same time. That will also cause you to do more SVs to pull somebody down.

apparently 25 is the magic number. And ofc, he considers me the same cycle a D2 team from 1000 miles away jumps in.

4 or 5 seasons back, I used 40-45 SV to pull down a player.

On that note..what is the minimum cash you would want to have on hand at division 3 to attempt a pulldown and have a reasonable shot at pulling one off?

Depends on the distance and when it is. My impression (can't really back this up, but I think it's true) is their magic number drops slowly during recruiting. So a guy who would've taken 15 might take 10 a couple days into recruiting.

But I would say anything less than about 8-10 SVs and you're probably wasting your time..however much it costs you to do that. If he's close by, that might be less than 2000, but that escalates in a hurry if he's not close.

I'm amazed at some of these 30+, 40+ responses. I've never done more than about 20 myself..and that was only when someone else was definitely trying to pull him down at the same time. I guess I could see it getting out of hand if neither coach backed down.
