New $70 Million Dollar League; NFL 21173 Topic

I'm gonna start a $70 Million dollar league in the next week.  I just finished playing in one and enjoyed it thoroughly.  The league had a list of blacklisted players and you were restricted to using players form 1970-1999.  It also required that you spend at least $3 mil total on your kicker, punter & special teams.

I propose no time period restraints but keeping a player blacklist.  Here are players that I would like to blacklist.  If you want to add anybody or take somebody off, just reply to my post.

2009 Aaron Rodgers

im in roadhouse, should we add mike vick to the black list?

No.  I'm ok with Vick.  If you're gonna roll with the 2010 version of America's most famous dog killer, God bless you because his 75% durability is gonna bite you in the ***.

Sounds like a fun league.  Definitely forces GMs to be creative building a team.

I propose that we exclude all seasons of the players listed.  Plus add: Ken Anderson, Peyton Manning, Johnny Unitas, Culpepper, Favre, Romo, Rivers

You should Add Peyton Manning to the Black List QB.

The only version of Walter Payton that I ever seen anyone use is the 1977 version, so I'm ok with any other year of him.

I don't wanna restrict too many qbs.  Surprisingly,I have not seen Peyton Manning used that often.  2009 Phillip Rivers was hot for awhile, but he tapered off.  But I'll go ahead and add 2009 Rivers to the list. And 2009 Favre as well.

I'm ok with Ken Anderson. I don't see him used too often.

I'm just sooo sick of seeing 1989 Christian Okoye. And the 1952 Packers defense.

question road? you state no offense with 80+ run  AND 80+ pass, is this a combo deal? or can we have say run that is 100 but pass is 79 or below?

Yes.  If for instance you want to use one of the old 49er lines with a 100 run rating but only a 54 pass rating, that's ok.  O lines like the 1984 Dolphins (49 run 100 pass) are ok too.
