Recruiting period isn't over yet. Is it better to try to redshirt now? or wait until after the exhibitions? Is their a best strategy?

Want to redshirt one of my sophomore PG's.

Not sure if this is your first season with said team. I have 1 new team the last week and another with soph player I recruited.Redshirted a soph on each team before recruiting. One said he was mad at first but accepted as a good decision. Other was happy to work on his game. May have been just luck. Try the redshirt now and Gl.

Thanks carinault. I waited until after the 2nd exhibition game to redshirt him.

So far no response from the player.

How long until I get a response from the player?

I expected it right away.
