The order for this draft will be done using “random.org.” One random draw will be done for each Category.
The draft cycle will run as this – Round One: 1-24, Round Two: 24-1 and Round Three: 24-1. Each draft will run as such: picks will be every half-hour with 24 picks a day for three days. The day after the first draft is completed, the draft for League Two will begin and will run the same way. Leagues Three, Four, Five and Six will follow thereafter. The alignment for each league will follow the draft order for each league.
Once you have the three teams you draft and you’re ready to make up your roster, you can have a maximum of five players on your roster from the first team you select. You can have a maximum of seven players from the second team you select. The remainder of your roster must come from the third team you select. For example, in League Number One, if you draft the 1906 Cubs, the 1908 Indians and the 1916 White Sox, you can only have five players from the 1906 Cubs, seven players from the 1908 Indians and the rest of your squad must come from the 1916 White Sox. ALSO, the following stipulations must apply at the end of the season:
(1) There must be at least one pitcher from each of your three teams that achieves 200 IP’s;
(2) There must be at least two position players from each of your three teams that achieves 500 PA’s (we’re using the D.H. so it shouldn’t be a problem);
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
There will be no N.L./A.L. split. When drafting, you can choose teams from either league.
Teams Available To Draft: All teams from 1892 through 1918 (with the exception of the 1914 and 1915 Federal League teams).
Clones: Yes, as you may end up with two or three teams with relatively the same players on their roster (i.e., you choose the 1894, 1895 and 1896 Orioles, etc.).
Waiver Wire, Trades and A.A.A. – NO!
Designated Hitter – YES!
Injuries – Turned Off.
CAP – No cap – just build the best roster you can within the confines of your three teams and that time-frame.
Stadium – Must use the “Home” of one of your three teams during that time-frame.
