Odd BB/K stats for batter Topic

I've got a team in trentonjoe's $65 Million Dollars vs Real Life theme.  One of my batters is 1888 Yank Robinson, who had a real life BB:K ratio of just under 3:1 (116:39).

In this league, after 30 games, he has 35 BB and only 1 K -- meaning he's on pace for 189 walks and 5 strikeouts.

Fluke, or something else?  Any chance he might continue at this pace?

True, but only 3 of our 33 games so far have been divisional games (kooky 28-team league schedule).

Yank got back on track, and wound up with 149 BB and 19 K (or 7.84 walks for every strikeout, vs. his real life ratio of 2.97 walks per strikeout).

Probably it was the opposition pitchers as jfranco said, since the entire team's ratio was much improved in this league: 532/252 here, and 520/546 real life.
