If you are running a fastbreak offense, how exaclty does distro work? It seems to me that in real life if you are on a fastbreak you are not running a "play" but you are just passing to whomever is in position to finish. In other words, fastbreak is all about opportunity, not a set plan.
So, does distro only come into play when running a fastbreak offense when you are NOT on an actual fastbreak? If this is true then in my case I would think I would want to set up my distro high for my bigs since they appear to be my better scorers. But if distro comes into play even when on the break, then I would want to put my fast guards who are the best finishers with the higher distro....
Any advice appreciated.
