Budget Transfer Question Topic

Is there a reason there is a $2mil/$1mil minimum on budget transfers?

I get the 50% "tax", but why is there a minimum on transfer amounts?  If I have $1.2mil left in my coaching budget after signing everyone, why can't I transfer that somewhere? It may only be 600K, but it would be more useful than just having it sit there and be wasted.

You're screwed if you leave less than $2M in there. If you spend over $6M then make sure it's $8M, $10M etc.

Thanks, Tips.  If I put $12mil in coaching because I want good coaches, but my top choices all go elsewhere and I have to sign lesser guys, that's not really an  error in budgeting. Unless, in all your expert wisdom, you've found a way to guarantee yourself the coaches and players you want.

Maybe it's because everyone would do it, and it sort of seems silly to take your $262,240 left over from coaching and throw half if it into player salaries.  And its just another thing you "have" to do every year.

Why would that be silly? It's not as if a real MLB team would leave money in their budget without spending it if they had leftover cash.
