There was a league like this one a year or two ago that I was in, but I forgot who ran it. I have decided to bring it back and change it up a bit.

Who Done It? After drafting your team you will sitemail me your roster with a list of name changes. Pick a theme for your team and change all the player's names to that theme. For example, you have 61-62 Wilt Chamerlain and 88-89 Michael Jordan, but you rename Wilt Scooby Doo and MJ Shaggy. At the end of the season, I will post the list of who was who. When you join, please state your Team Name/Theme, so we don't end up with duplicate themes.

Each owner will select 3 players 2 players to black list from this league, get the names posted as soon as possible. Once that player is blacklisted, no one may use him.
Once the league is filled you may fill out your roster.
You are allowed one set of clones. You could have two of player X, but every other player on your roster must be a different person.
No clones
There will be no rookies.
47 mil cap.
No waiverwire.

Hmmm...sounds like a cool idea.  I wonder if 3 per team is too many to blacklist though.  That seems like allot of players (72).  I'd be down if it were 2 players.

Also, do we all need to have different themes?  If so, I assume we should post the theme of our team in the forum when we join?

Good idea.

Two is fair enough. I'll change it.

Using the 3 man blacklist would take away 72 players, leaving 28+ top 100 players of all time, giving everyone in the league one of those players... And I must say, everyone on that list is pretty good.

My issue with blacklisting that many is that you won't have as much parity in the league.  Certain players will make their way on all teams.  Regardless of what they are actually named.

This is a fun one - I am in - blacklist Moses and MJ.
