Ok, I have a somewhat time sensitive question.  I did a sign and trade for a player on my current roster, the trade will be official at 11PM tonight, when i go through my arbitration signings I will go over the cap, the current trade will put me under the cap, will my budget get adjusted by my gm as a result or since it is still today will I be ok?  thanks guys!

Wait until after the trade to do your arbitration.

well, seeing as the answer was not forthcoming i found out the hard way, the 11PM cycle looks at your budget, then right after (literally they occurred at 11:13 and 11:14) that approves trades, so it transferred $5 mil out of other budget areas and proceeded to then approve my trade and leave me $5 mil+ in available cap space.  needless to say I have contacted support to see if this logic can get changed bc that is silly IMHO...     

Please let us know what CS has to say. I faced this situation once and backed away because I was afraid this is what might happen.
