Free Agent Demands Topic

Has anyone seen free agents whose demands do not go down if they are not signed in the free agent signing period.  There are 2 Class A free agents in my world (both rated 80 overall) whose demands have not gone down during the free agent signing period.  They were not signed and their demands have still not gone down.

They should go down after spring training if not by then.

If anyone makes a bid on a player, I believe that the player's demands will not go down until spring training, even if the bid was withdrawn or lower than the player's demands.

Correct.

I noticed that for the first time during a recent offseason. Both were my former players who rejected my exclusive offer, and I didn't make another offer during free agency. And apparently no one else did, either, until spring training.

This touches on a change that I've been asking WiS to make, but they don't seem to understand the issue. It irks me that, if you make an offer to a player that he either rejects or you withdraw (for whatever reason), and then a few cycles down the road you can see on the main FA page that he's reduced his asking price, your previous offer remains in the offer form. So basically, you can see what his yearly asking price is, but you have to guess how many years he'd accept. Am I explaining this in a way that can be understood, and does anyone else think this ought to be fixed?
