I get so many inquiries, it is easier to post here. I hope no one minds. I was doing great, but in June the Drs. found new lesions, one on my skull, and 2.on my left arm. That was really hard to take. I have been at home, unable to work since then. I had no dificulty getting on Medicaid, but I also qualifiedfor unemployment, and the amount of money I get disqualified me for Medicaid. Fortunately, Delaware has a cancer treatment program, in which I get all cancer treatments and prescriptions covered for 2 years. I am scheduled for a bone marrow transplant later this month, hopefully that will mark the end of this. I have multiple myeloma, a form of leukemia. WIS has been especially valuable to me, as something that can occupy me for long periods of time but doesn't,t really matter. I treasure the interest and caring of the friends I have found here, and every now and then I even win a game!! Money is always an issue now. I have made efforts all my life at saving, and living below my means, but a few visits to cancer centers took care of my nest eggs. If anyone has a team available that they have no idea what to do with, think of me :).
