In a league that starts tomorrrow I was granted a rather good crop of prospects. One of which is this guy:
Carlos Penrod: 9 contact, 7 power, and 7 speed. (He has terrible defense and stamina, and only plays OF)
He is based on '58 Leon Wagner who is worth 1.84M. Wagner batted .317/.371/.522 with 13HRs in 253 AB.
All of my outfielders are half decent, I have '90 Willie McGee, '30 Heinie Manush, and '88 Tony Gwynn, The thing is most of them have around 600 PA/162 so I'm not sure if my very good prospect (I am assuming) will get his max ABs. I am considering waiting until I have reliable lefty/righty splits for my outfielders and prospects and then inserting Penrod accordingly. Any advice?
