I recently signed a transfer from a D1 program to my D2 program.  He transfered after sitting out a year for Penn St. being academically uneligible.  Now if he stayed at PSU, he would have 4 years left, his last being a SR/5.  Since he transfered down to D2 after his academically uneligible year, will he still have 4 years of eligibility or does he lose that year completely?

4 seasons of eligibility left. The transfer down means nothing.
