I'd like some advice on how to arrange the guards on my Juniata team. By far my two best guards are Keith Jackson and Lawrence Thomas. Both of them are dynamic defensive players who can also shoulder a great deal of the scoring load. Unfortunately, while both guys can handle the ball, neither can pass. Jackson has a passing rating of 51, Thomas only 37. I usually build teams with very good passing across the board and it definitely seems to improve my teams' shooting %s. I really hate the idea of putting two guards like that on the court together as starters. On the other hand, the only better passer I have - Philip Bryden - is a defensive liability. I have 2 SFs on the roster that are pretty well-balanced players and who I don't want to marginalize, so starting all 3 guards isn't a great option for me. This is further magnified by the fact that if the guy I'm trying to RS (Goss) takes it I'll have only have 5 guards on the roster, and starting 3 with 2 freshmen left on the bench would leave me real thin in a press. In short, I don't really like any of my options... Is my best choice to just start Jackson and Thomas and live with the awful passing?
