I believe that's called "World Chat".

Most worlds even have a "post your turds" day(s).

For example, if I want to trade a guy I can post up in the world chat with a link and ask for replies. There is always some dbag that will knock your player and ruin your trade talk. I'd like the option of being able to work behind the scenes via trade chat without having to send 32 individual chats. Maybe a check box for multiple t/c's would work too.

Couldn't some dbag use the same feature to knock your player over tc?

If your player doesn't suck, it doesn't matter waht the dbag says about him.  If he does suck, I don't want to make it easy for some clown to spam the entire world in TC about a sucky player.
