That says it  all crazy.....

First, perhaps the baseball that unfolded on Wednesday evening — which also featured a dramatic and season-ending collapse by the Atlanta Braves — was God’s way of telling Bud Selig that baseball ought not add an extra wild card, which would have rendered yesterday’s games relatively meaningless.

'LOL'

For all of you Boston fans around  30 years old or younger, welcome to the real Red Sox Nation......over paid, no heart, bungling, chokers...
It says a lot about a person's character to take joy in someone else's sadness.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan this was not an issue of taking joy in someone else's sadness.  It was a statement of PURE ANGER AND FRUSTRATION.  If it didn't come across that way,  tough sh*t.  I really hope it didn't hurt your tender sensitivities contrarian; or zubinsum, who can't seem to help himself with his quaint anecdotes.
I did not post an anecdote nor did I express any hapiness about the Rex Sox (or Braves) misfortune.  Please direct your frustrations elsewhere.

And sore loser seems to fit your comments...

The Red Sox were a very good team that choked and/or got unlucky.  The Rays got hot/ lucky at the same time and were beneficiaries.  That is both the pain and the beauty of sports.  Being on the losing end sucks and I do feel bad for the fans player and coaches that go through it.  However, I really can't stand the attitude among Boston / New England fans that believe that their pain is some how worse than other teams.  I also can't tolerate those that believe their frustrations give them lease to take it out on bystanders.  The Braves did nearly the same thing this year but I don't hear 1/10th the amount of complaining from their fans.

Has there been a luckier fanbase than Boston sports in the last ten years? Red Sox? Patriots? Celtics? Sheesh....Spoiled?

First I wasn't taking my frustration out on anybody, just expressing a little justifiable anger, second I didn't realize you had your finger on the pulse of fans around the country, but considering you pontificate on every single topic in this Forum  (which I can't stand) I should have expected some cozy remark from you.
By the way booger you forgot the Bruin's....spoiled, maybe a little, sore loser, definitely not.  An idiotic Red Sox fan, guilty.
