Can we please stop having my DH fatigue as much as my catcher.  You bat 4 times a game, then ride the pine the rest of way.  In 'real life' they let guys DH as sort of a day off.  So when my star second baseman is fatigued I would like the option of letting him DH and getting his energy back slowly as opposed to sitting him on the bench for 3 days.

Which player?  Can we get a link?   I am thinking the DH has low durability and, therefore, should become fatigued.

ok a guy like  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Joey Sinclair has been DH the past 7 games on my AAA squad.  8 games ago I gave him a 3 day rest to get his fatigue back up 100.  He has a 77 durability not great but I'm just saying a DH shouldn't get fatigued the same as the guy going out and playing in the field everyday.

They don't.

Well the DH and the 1b fatigue at the same rate and that's pretty stupid. The DH doesn't play. He bats 1/9 of 1/2 of a game. And in spite of that response "they don't" it does. It happened to me in Munson my last season there and sent in a ticket about it. Half the reason I left that world was WIS and their response to the ticket. They've gotten more professional recently but it's about time!

A 1B stands around and waits for someone to throw him the ball.  How tiring is that?

You simply cannot expect a 66 DUR to play 162 even as a DH.

Have u seen prince fielder? Or his dad? And can u expect any athlete to not be able to bat 300 times in a season because of fatigue?

And with ur analogy, doesn't the short stop sit there and wait for somebody to hit him a ball. An what does the catcher do in ur opinion? Sit and wait for somebody to throw him a ball? Come on man, be real if ur gonna drop ur 2 cents in.

People need to stop thinking about position player "fatigue" as simply guys being tired.   MLB regulars don't take days off on a regular basis simply because they are tired.  They take it because they are sore, having a nagging injury that's not worth a trip to the DL, etc.  A guy with crappy durability is a wimp who can't play through pain.  We don't have actual injuries that guys can play through, so we have durability and fatigue.

My first sentence was dripping with sarcasm.   Sometimes sarcasm doesn't transfer to the typed word.

My second sentence applies to HBD.    Durability is in the game so owners are FORCED to utilize 25 man rosters.   Otherwise, we'd play our best nine 162 times.   Rather than complain about fatigue, accept the reason for it and plan your team around it.

As Mike has said multiple times before in different threads....think of  fatigue as nagging injuries as well and it will bother you less.
