I'm considering signing a pitcher who looks pretty solid, but has a 0 in durability to go with a 66 in stamina. If I put his pitch count at 10/15, how often do you think this guy could pitch? Maybe 40 innings over the course of a season?

i'd say 40 IP is a good estimtae. This guy comes to mind, he had a 5 durability

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Donovan Field

squeezed 53 innings out of him before I let him go on waivers.

If you use him as a starter you can get 7-8 starts per season and he will pitch more innings than he would throwing 1 inning at a time.

I believe there is a bigger difference between 0 Dur and 5 Dur than you might expect.

Walt

NOTE: Walt now is just sitting idle, but check out his early years with MN. About 20 IP per season.

That means recovery of about 20 days after starting. Unless you limit him to a 40 PC, I don't see that happening.

I did sign the player, he's the last man in the bullpen on a team with a strong pitching staff so he won't be relied upon too much. If I get 20-30 solid innings out of him as a SuB, I'll be satisfied.
