I had two players go academically ineligible. I was curious if I should cut freshman SG Scott Eddy, I am not thrilled with him and I didn't use FSS enough for recruiting, he isn't going up at all in PE. I wonder if I am better off releasing him and filling it with an open scholly in the off season. This could also help me even out my classes.

I can't remember if you get the money for another schollie if you cut him right now. If you get an open schollie/cash, go for it. If not, keep him til recruiting and see if you can get a guy to replace him with the money you have, then cut him to make room for the new guy. If that makes sense...

You can't cut anyone during the season anyway. You'd have to wait until the season rolled over, and you wouldn't get the cash.

Yeah, so after the season ends, try to get a replacement recruit with your extra recruiting $$, and if you find one, cut the guy to open another schollie
