2) arm counts too

4) those aren't ******* SS's
5) if my life depended on it prolly the 79/86 but ffs don't play those guys at SS

I usually lean towards range, but with only a 73 glove I'd probably go with the 79/86 guy.

looks like your 79/86 guy makes ~ 25 errors and 10 minus plays a year, which some might be able to stomach.  otoh stick him at 3B and he's a gold glover.

86/73 is probably going to make like 55-60 errors a year so i really wouldn't **** with him at all.

If the arm is equal, 79/86... the rec for a SS is 80 Range, but it's 85 glove.
Conti's bat is not good enough for his bad SS play, though.  Put him at 3B and find a GG SS with a **** bat and play him.

Newbie question...slightly off topic....

Can I change a guy in the ML that has played his career in CF to 2B?  I have looked at the table that shows me average ratings for the positions and this player would be an improvement defensively at 2B for me but he has played his career in CF. 

In other words, is there a penalty for changing a guy's position after he has played something else for a long time or does the SIM just use the ratings numbers?
