I am in a progressive league and I got this guy as an AAA pitcher. I needed a spot start early and decide to throw him out there. He threw a complete game 3 hit, 1 run, win against a Cy young winning Roger Clemens.

His ratings are as follows.
control 9
Velocity 7
Eff 10
Stamina A
Starter

just wondering who This guy really is and is he will continue to be good in a progressive.

The EFF stat is ERC#....if it's 10, the guy is probably gonna be good in a single season progressive.

Your AAA guy must be WAA. If he is a lefty, it is either 09 Plank, 71 Dave Roberts, or 36 Lefty Grove. If he is a righty, he is either 06 Harry Howell, 88 Chamberlain, 87 Doyle Alexander, or 14 Rankin Johnson. If you want to know which he is, pitch him until he gets tired, figure out how many IP he has for the season, and compare his IP to the IP of these guys.

It looks to me like 1934 George Hockette. Good pitcher (2.24 ERC#) but only 30 innings. 

Nice score anyway for a below average AAA.

Remember, Stamina of A only means that he's likely to pitch a long time when he starts without losing effectiveness.... if he's an average to below-average starting pitcher, he might only be able to start three or four games during the whole year.  While not quite Milacki-level, he's a nice little filler for free.

crazystengel is right, I think.  I assume your AAA guy is very fatigued now?  If he is, it's almost certainly Hockette.  Remember that A stamina refers to his actual IP/G, not his IP/162.

I knew that stamina was only for the game not the season, and he is tired, he also is a lefty.
