There is just one conference only stat that either of them show up in. Aldaco is #25 in blocks. I think you are on to something though. There are probably other conference only stats where Belt is ahead..

What is the record of each team? Was Belt's team much better? Not sure if that plays a factor.

somehow belt's better ft% and t/o is outweighing everything else? That would seem silly...or Belt had some underhanded dealing with the committee members. 

Edit: What's their conf only stats, because that's the only thing that matters in Conf awards.
