Wow

There really should be more guys like this. THis guy would be a great D3 player and a pretty good D2 player. There are tons of guys who walkon in D1 who end up being good enough to earn scholarships. This is a guy I'd be tempted to offer a scholarship to, just to see how good he ends up.

He's better than the scholarship players on that team

Wow, that is impressive. I wonder if there was a silent tweak to the walkons a while back...seems that I've been seeing more functional walkons in worlds lately than I ever used to. Maybe I'm just paying greater attention now...

Um, no.  I had to to carry a pair of walkons this past season (DII), and one of them was 150 points worse than the worst DIII recruit.  Walkons (this one obviously the one exception) are still pointless.

i think sim teams have better walkons than human teams.

Oh, I totally agree that the overwhelming majority suck,  I think my last walkon at D3 had all of 86 points in all the useful stat categories (he had a 100 work ethic, so he worked really hard at sucking, which was nice...) but I think you're seeing some rare isolated exceptions like this where, previously, I recall seeing none (and, I agree with tiny, it seems most of them are popping up on Sim rosters)

There's a couple decent ones on the Greenville team I played this season.  I agree...they seem more diversified this season.

They do.

Sure wish I could find one of those decent walkons. Got stuck with 5 walkons at Marquette and not one of them is at all useful. I will play a 7 man rotation with my backup SF (listed position PF) backing up both guard spots and still be better off than if any of those 5 got in the game.
