Runs scored for Pitchers Topic

I was wondering if anyone else has ever kept track of the number of runs a team scores for a particular pitcher compared to other pitchers on their teams?

I have Nolan Ryan in a progressive. We are now playing the 1982 season and I have been keeping track of the runs and hits my team has when he pitches and also when my other pitchers pitch. Through the 1st 42 games of the season I've had 2 games be blowouts, 1 when he pitched and 1 when he didn't. The numbers with those 2 games thrown out, for the sole purpose of not to distort the numbers is:
When Ryan pitches = 30 runs on 85 hits in 10 games.  Averages 3 runs per game on 8.5 hits per game.
When my other starters pitch = 134 runs on 255 hits in 29 games. Averages 4.6 runs per game on 8.79 hits per game.
Hits are basically the same but the runs are 50% more for the other pitchers. IMO this is quite a difference.

Does anyone know, does the sim engine do this to certain pitchers on purpose? Is this a stat I'm missing somewhere? Last season I suspected that this was happening but didn't keep track. This season I am going to track it for the entire season. I first thought most of my opponents scheduled their better pitchers against Ryan when they saw he was going to pitch that particular game but I have been looking at that also and it is not the case.

I'm not about to (at the moment) go back through all the games, but I'm in a 1970 progressive where I have a below .500 team with an anemic offense and a gaggle of sub-par pitchers.  As of game 147 one of my starters, Gary Peters, who's no great shakes in 1970, is a respectable 13-7.  Here's his line...

Gary Peters: W. 13  L. 7  IP. 197  H. 249  OAV. 307  OBP. 373  SLG. .456  WHIP. 1.65  ERA. 5.12

Apparently my pack of losers is, on average, managing more than 5.12 runs a game when Peters is pitching...  instead of their usual (Gary starts included) 4.7.

But no, I don't think the SIM frigs with anything.  Random stat snapshots are funny enough as they are.

The sim doesn't do that on purpose.  You are just noticing relative pitching match-up and random variation.
