Anyone have an idea what happens if you start a guy but put him on mop up?

Pick a game where you're 80-point favorites or whatever and find out.

...and let the rest of us know what happened. please.

I think he usually starts and gets about 10 minutes, but it was a long time ago when I tried it, don't exactly remember.

It's a great strategy if you promised a freshman a start, but have a better player behind him.

I accadently did this before. He didn't start and never played that game.

so start him and set him at the lowest possible minutes...

I have 4 freshmen at Connecticut I promised starts to and forgot to remove them before the end of recruiting. Stared 8-0, but am now 8-6 and desperate. I am going to try it. I have had all four on 4-8 minutes, and they are in that range. Could be I would have lost those 6 games anyway because it's a super young team. I am trying to remember how many games you can have them sit out without taking a reputation hit. I just need to make the NT.

If it works, it has to be reported and fixed. It's a glitch.

its 80% you have to stay above, in terms of starts, to avoid complaining / quitting.

I think that a starter on mop up wont start and the player will not recognize it as a start that would satisfy a promise
