In looking at the list of baseline prestige it lists Georgetown as an A- in my looking it seems to be a B. any way to know for sure what the baseline of a school is?

So if thats the case why are we ******** about baseline if we don't even know what they are?

We have a pretty good idea the baseline prestiges are accurate on the chart. When new worlds were created, a number of coaches checked each school's prestige. That gave us the list. That said, there is no guarantee it is perfect, and I agree Georgetown does seem depressed for an A-, at least in IBA.

When I went and looked at history in all my worlds Georgetown is listed as a B in the first year of prestige. I also noticed the GTown team I coach had a pretty impressive stretch a while back including a NC but never made A+. I have a feeling they are not the A- they are listed as and are more like a B.

Well prestige doesn't start to be listed until Season 14, I can't say for sure, but there had to be a prestige listed for these teams just for recruiting purposes for every season, and it just doesn't show up on the history page.

My bad that's only in Tark (for my worlds) in Knight and Phelan, G'Town is an A- in season 1, with a 2nd round NT appearance in 1 world and a PI title game in the other.

In Iba they are a B and made the NT Championship game that year. That just doesn't fit

Thats what I was going off of and I don't think it is accurate.

To my knowledge, WIS has never come out and said exactly what the baselines are and the prestige of each team from the first implementation of the prestige letter grades varies from world to world. Those "accepted" baselines are probably pretty close, but may not be 100% accurate.  I'd think Indiana would be a better baseline than A-, especially when Illinois is an A+.

Can't you just ask CS if you have a question about Georgetown's baseline? I would imagine they'd answer, it's not as if baseline should be secretive.

Then again if its not secretive, why is it not publicized?

Asked CS for a list, got a response that he didn't understand what I was asking for, I clarified, just got sent up the for review.

Will be interesting to hear/see the response.  Until they actually produce the goods, Im sticking with the notion that they do not want us to know
