I drafted this guy at #6 and he's just upped his demands..  My scouting is currently 4 Coll / 18 HS.   Should I sign him or should I just try to do better with the #7 pick next season with slightly higher scouting.

I have approx 8M left in PROSPECTS and he wants pretty much all of it.

Why wouldn't you sign him?  What would a similar International FA get?  What else would you spend that money on?

You know thats what I'm thinkiing as well.  The only issue I have is the guy is a LR pitcher and will only have 1 decent pitch (not great #6 pick). The draft's have been pretty weak the last 3 seasons and we're due for a good one. I'm wondering if I should just take the #7 pick next season and try to draft a player that could play a bigger role than long relief..  I saw one guy that was actually slightly better and I choose this guy becuase I knew he would raise his demand and I could perhaps let him walk..

Make him a set up guy.  Limit him to 30-35 pitches.  He'll throw 100 innings...and be great, even if his vL/vR don't quite get to projections.  vR of 99?  vL of 93!  Wow.

ive started guys with stamina at 54 pitch them at max of like 85 and they are fine.
