Id like to see players where the proper hat in their hall of fame nomination pictures. Maybe this could be based on years with a franchise?

I think they already wear the hat of the current franchise that they spent the most time with.

Something I noticed - I had a player wear my hat that never played for me.  However, he did play for the previous owner of my franchise.  Maybe use the previous owner's hat?

This is the least of my concerns with the HOF though.

Here's the problem I see with that:

Let's say a HOFer played most of his career with Cincinnati (for example).  The Cincinnati franchise moves to Buffalo, and a different team moves to Cincinnati.

In that case, do you really want the player to weat a Cincinnati hat?  Because it would be a bit miselading, because it would look like he played for the current Cincy franchise, which he may have never played for.

One thing I noticed is that they wear the hat of the location that the franchise was in when the player retired.  We have a player who spent most of his seasons with one team, when it was in New Britain.  The year this player retired, that franchise was Dover.  This franchise was Dover for only one season and has been Ottawa for more seasons than any other, and is still Ottawa.  Why should the guy have a Dover hat on?  I think that it should be an Ottawa, or New Britain cap.
