Forum posts reflect the opinion of the one making the post. Personally, I go up tempo against the press 100% of the time, unless I'm also a fcp team with inferior stamina and/or core ratings.
For game one, look at the minutes played for both team's starters. Not really a shocker that he beat you when his starting SRs (with better IQ) played a total of 128 minutes while Wilson add 16 minutes off the bench, for 144 minutes.
Your starters played 104 minutes total, while nokes add 19 minutes off the bench, for a total of 123 minutes. His best players played 20% more in terms of minutes than yours did. That's huge, and is a reason why I advocate stamina as a very important attribute for fcp recruiting. With poor team stamina, why run uptempo like this? I have been running slowdown numerous times against far weaker competition when my fcp team stamina was in the low 70s.
