I've been playing this game a long time, yet haven't seen a name like this one.

I mean, of course, the all-time winner is T-Bone Steakburner... or the guy that got customer support to add an MSPaint mustache to his shooting guard, Geraldo Rivera.

I know...His first name was "Homer Allen" but I had Customer Service change it for me because I almost had him on the PF depth chart instead of Paul Allen. And I'm thinkin' the 5'9 Homer wouldn't be as effective as the 6'8 Paul.  I knew as soon as I submitted the ticket that it would be "Simpson" instead of "Allen"

We really should pin one of these every year and have an official "Funniest names of 20xx" thread -- always a fun read.

I still think one the of funniest name things was the coach that had an entire team of Johnsons.  I can't remember if he coached Johnson C. Smith or Johnson and Wales.

@barret that is priceless. I wish the name data base had some more names, HBD has a 32 page thread on this subject. Quite a good read, I don't care who you are or what you play.

In next year's Knight recruiting class you can find William Holden, star of the classic movies -  The Bridge on the River Kwai and Stalag 17.

It was Johnson C Smith - I joined the conference right at the end of the era...

There was a guy named Harry Dingus that played for Connecticut in D3 Allen a few years back. Would have been a great fit at Johnson C. Smith.
