I'm sure this and happened and been covered in the forums, but a quick search turned up nothing.
Yesterday a great player dropped down to me and I immediately sent him a home visit and scholarship. I got the thank you email, and several responses about loving my school, but still visiting other, but no consideration on his profile. This didn't bother me, sometimes it takes a few cycles to get considered when sending minimal recruiting effort. When I woke up this morning, the last day of recruiting, I noticed he still wasn't considering me. Flat broke, I began to worry. Then the next cycle, I noticed he disappeared off my recruiting board only to see he has signed with me.
In short, has anyone had a player sign without your school showing up on his 'considering' list?

Yes when I was a backup option for him... I removed him from my list and then he signed on one of the last days of recruiting

How did that work? Did you offer him a scholarship while you were a backup, removed him from your list, then he randomly signed?

Yes I dumped money into him and offered him, then removed him since I moved on. Next thing I know he signed out of nowhere a few days later.

When do you guys offer the schollie? Is it one of the first things you do? Or the last?

I always offer it either in the thick of things or early. Never after signings, always a day or two before, unless I jump on them late. That way I can see where I stand, especially when battling, and be alerted if anyone ever passes me.

I offered it with the initial call and spent quite a bit $2,000 on him and wasn't able to pull him down so then I moved on and he decided he didn't have any better options apparently. I didn't know he was even considering me and I ended up cutting someone else on my roster because  I got another guy to consider me. 

Did you pull his scholarship offer or just remove him from your list?

Just removed him from my list, didn't remove the scholarship offer. Ultimately I wanted the guy, just never thought he would sign with me, in the end it was a win win!
