At the start of spring training I moved 5-6 players from minor leagues to major league team to see how they would perform.
Now I need to send them back and it appears they will have to clear waivers before moving back. Is this correct?

How long does it take for a player to clear waivers?  Where can I find an explanation of how "waivers" works?

This game is so complicated it isn't fun, it's a job.

Thanks for your help.

If you added them to your ST roster, no, they'll automatically move back to the minor league level.   If you promoted them to the bigs and they have no options, yes, you'll have to waive them   And they may get claimed.

How can I tell what I did?

You should know what you did.

Nonetheles, give me the name of a player.

You only promoted one player to the major leagues.   Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Anthony Tanner  You probably added them via the ST screen.

Quick follow up waiver question that I couldn't find the answer to in the FAQs or help documents: When claiming a player off waivers, do you need to have budget already allocated for the claim, or can you transfer your budget after the waiver claim goes through?

You need to already have the money in your budget for the claim to be successful.
