Fatigue and Injury Recovery Inconsistency Topic

I'm surprised I never noticed this, or that nobody else has commented on this before.

Spring Training just ended in one of my worlds with the PM2 cycle last night.  I'm noticing the following inconsistency with the way my minor leaguers are recovering from both fatigue and injuries between the end of spring training and the start of the minor league regular season (which starts on Thursday).

I have two pitchers who pitched in the last couple of ST games.  One ended ST with a fatigue level of 35 (52), and the other ended with a fatigue level of 65 (93).  Now that we are in the "Prepare for Regular Season" part of the schedule, they are not recovering from fatigue . . . they are "stuck" at their current fatigue levels until Thursday, when the minor league regular season starts.  Then they will start with their normal fatigue recovery.  In effect, the "Prepare for Regular Season" part of the schedule is working like a "Placeholder Day" for minor leaguers . . . time stands still with respect to fatigue.  Yet major league players recover at their normal rate during this period.

But I also have a couple of minor league pitchers who sustained injuries during ST.  They are recovering from their injuries during the "Prepare for Regular Season" part of the schedule, just as they would on an "Off Day".

Does anybody else thing this is odd?  Shouldn't these two real-life days (six HBD days) be treated as off-days for minor leaguers, so that they can both recover from fatigue and injury in a consistent manner?

I thought I noticed this 1 or 2 seasons ago, but since I was not 100% sure that I didn't just mess up, I didn't submit a ticket.

One of my top SP prospects ended up 0(0) because I set him as SP1 and he didn't recover before the MinL season started. He didn't get hurt & was back at 100 after missing 1 or 2 turns.  No harm, but an injury while he was at 0(0) due to a bug would have sucked.

I'm with you. It seems like a bug.  Hopefully fixed in the next release.

I thought it was a place holder day.  Never noticed the ML'ers and minor leaguers recovered differently
