Bracketology vs. Projection report Topic

I was thinking it would be better if their was bracketology instead of projection report because then I could see who I was matched up against and it would be easier to know if you could make it. Which would you choose?

Also who would support me if I made my own bracketology report.(Nasmith cause I am in that world)

I'd love to see your bracketology report.

The projection report changes daily. So I'm not sure what benefit you'd gain by knowing your prospective opponent.

I would need rpi and sos to come out first and then I would start. Does RPI come out in day 7? I

If one looks at the projection report as an S-curve, one could probably approximate who one might play in the first round.  Way too much effort weeding the single bid conferences though.

For those who definitely dont work full time yet.

RPI usually comes out on Day 8

i already do this just not in depth and i do it in my own mind.

you have to take 1 bid per conference into account, then just start counting out spots and keep track of how many conferences are not represented and stop at 64

example, if u counted out 50 spots and then 14 conferences are not accounted for in the top 50, you stop cuz ur at 64 and that is ur cut off point

you can estimate seeds be dividing by 4, i never bothered with the poorer seeds, I have only really done this to see where teams in my conference fell..  usally took 2 minutes or less to figure out.

We are in the CT, in Phelan, and hoping the USA South sends 8 teams to the NT. The most dubious one would be Ferrum, with an RPI of 85, but which is listed at 50 on the projection report. Do you think they will get into the NT?

Ya for sure im thinking an 7 seed.

looks like i was right ferrum did make the tournament .But what seed did they get?
