new coach help evaluating my team Topic

i am a new coach, just wondering if anyone has suggestions on how i am using my players.

i did a rating with all my players without including work ethic, durability, endurance.  These 3 do not directly impact talent level.

My team is Lakeland - Naismith.

After doing this I found some surprises,  Also realized considering important skills of athletic, speed, defense is not weighted in this and free throw shooting isnt taken into account for.

Here is the scores I got when ommitting WE, DUR, END

Kurz - 423 - jr
Hellenbeck - 414 - sr
Lowery - 351 - so
Pagan - 347 - so
heckel - 346 - jr
endicott - 342 - so
richardson - 337 - jr
wisley- 328 - fr
harrison - 324 - jr
burris - 275 -sr

some things i already found is heckel has been a surprise on the offensive side and has stole minutes from harrison this year because of harrisons defensive liability.

Pagan and Lowery are higher in the rating and are 2 of my better athletic speed defense combo players and they seem not to contribue as much to the team as I would like them too.  Endicott has been a beast of the bench for me and Wisley is high potential in reb/def/block, and low in ath/pass and average in the rest, so I am trying to build him into a tweener that can play both sf/pf.

Basically, I ask this question cuz I only lose one player that really has an impact on the team and I get everyone else back last year and I am a bit of a rookie coach.

If you think you can make the post-season this year, , I'd go with this 8-man lineup:

PG- Richardson,  Heckel

SG- Harrrison , Lowery
Even tough Harrison's DEF rating of 12 is abysmal,  he's shooting 69.4% after you adjust for 3 pt shooting

SF- Pagan, Lowery

PF- Hallenback, Endicott

C- Kurtz, , Endicott

If you decide that post-season is impossible for this group, then you could give more playing time to Wilsey and prepare him for next year
