Cannot scout international countries.

WIS has a disconnect of what international means in real life.

I think that we all agree, PR needs to be scouted. They have schools there, so why cant those schools scout PR??

OP learns this the hard way after taking over a team in PR...

Having been at UPRC it kind of sucks.  You can't really do pulldowns (you would lose too much money), so you lose some players you really like.  I reccomend just waiting for dropdowns, and scouting small states that have players you like (I didn't scout big states like TX, NY, CA until after the first signing period).

Tianyi, there's usually a handful of D1 recruits, maybe 6 or 7.  Occasionally, PR will produce an absolute stud.  On my Duke team in Tark, I've got a SG named Alberto Ortiz who came from PR.  Was rated as the #1 overall player that season (he just came back for his Junior season, although I'm not sure how or why for that matter).  A couple of seasons before that I got the #5 rated PF.  Just this season, Miami (FL) snagged the #4 rated PG from there.  Every once in awhile, that little basketball factory of an island will come up with a gem of a player.

Can't answer your question entirely though because I'm not sure at all about the number of D2 and D3 recruits.

Tianyi, for the upcoming season in Phelan I see 5 D1 players, 8 D2, and 6 D3.  Those are just high school players, didn't check for JuCos.

**Edit**  Didn't see any JuCos or transfers.  So 19 total, which seems to be about the usual amount.

It does seem kind of nonsensical that a team from PR can't get scouting info for the players that are closest to them.  Unfair to those teams really.

did not realize that before I took over a PR team... opps

i like the PR no FSS situation. it's not entirely non-sensical (the FSS company could technically scout whatever area it wants to) and you can still get the information from your inept assistant coach on scouting trips. it adds an extra level of difficulty to the game.

Coaches in PR dont need any extra difficulty.
