Minor League schedules Topic

In Guiness, my team, Montreal Old Ports have un-balanced minor league home and away schedules.  Some levels play more home games some more away games.  Some levels do not play the teams in my division an equal number of times.  I suspect that all the teams in my world have the same issue.  Is this true for all worlds?  Is the site able and willing to fix it?  Is there a better way then this to bring it to there attention?

Does it really matter?

Yeah.

I think the stretch of seven or eight games versus one team is weird.  It's late in the season and very random.   It happens in the majors, dont know about the minors.

You aren't going to find many people who think it matters but send a ticket to Customer Support.  Link at the bottom of the page.

I think it matters!!! The one thing that really gets my shorts is the fact that some owners completely ignore the minor leagues. The simulation is HARDBALL DYNASTY! Not major league dynasty. For those who only want to be concern with the big club,.. please quit and go play baseball sim.

Errrrr......you can take care of your minors without caring that you play 80 road games and 64 home games.   Or if you play one team 12 times and another one only 6 times.

Gotta agree with MikeT on that

The comment was "it doesn't matter" and "You aren't going to find many people who think it matters" I think it matters, and if you cared about the minor leagues system, if will matter to you too.

Minor leagues are for development of prospects.  That's what it matters for.  I really don't care if my prospects develop at home or on the road.

What he said.

400 AB on the road, 400 AB at home = the same.

I think that minor leagues matter too, but in the same way that tec and MikeT do.

I agree that the farm system is for development however, the point is this, if the ML club had an unbalance schedule, you guys would be having a cow. The schedule matters to me at every level. I only wish that the owners in HBD took the lower levels as serious as the ML. Serious as in proper rosters, schedules, fatigue %,. its simply not done. Its not done because quote "it don't matter"

How is one not taking "the lower levels as serious as the ML" because they don't care if they have 80 road games?

I am someone who takes care of their minors to the point that typically all my minor league teams go to the playoffs and most seasons I have at least one minor league world series winner in each world I play in. I am somehow able to accomplish this feat despite the fact that I have never cared enough to see how many home/road games they play or bothered to check how many games they play vs. each team. I agree that maintaining proper rosters and paying attention to injuries and fatigue % is something that every GM should take care of for their franchises, but it is a monumental leap to care about the home/road split of the schedule. I am pretty certain that no real life ML GM would care about it.
