So this guy would be playing mid major Center in a motion/Man , are his passing and ball handling too bad?  How important are these categories?

I think you can get by with him, but he shouldn't get much distribution. He's somewhat slow as well, and with that 1 Pass, he'll be overly hurt by the DTs he's sure to attract if try to make him much of your offense. You MIGHT try to pick your spots with a few custom-made matchups over the season, to up his distribution, but not so often as to get his PPG up too high. You don't want to attract DTs, so make sure to keep his PPG well below 8. Otherwise, he's going to be a solid defender, with great SB and REB, and he'll be able to make a decent living on rebound putbacks. But if he were mine, I'd set him to1 Distribution and leave it. Good luck with him. He's a pretty solid player.

i like to recruit bh for my big men bc i play a lot of teams - in and out of conference - that run the fcp. it may have a nominal effect on his ability to score inside, but for the most part, you can have him as a scorer. i disagree with jsk's advice to a 1 distro, except in situations where he's lined up against a stud defender; suseptible to a dt (as jsk pointed out...but you should be able to predict whether he'll be dt'ed based on your opponents' previous games; your other players' production; etc); or in the fcp. even in those situations, i wouldn't drop him lower than 6.

That's a good clarification, jtt. I did overdo the advice to keep distro low in most cases.
