I've searched the forums, player guide and knowledge base but can't find anything. Does WIS have a minimum wins or winning PCT at which point they will kick the user out of the world?  I have an owner at .196 winning pct that claims there is nothing he can do this season. Just "bad luck".

"Supposedly" the fair play guidelines require an owner maintain a .250 winning %.

Although I've heard it's tough to get WIS to actually enforce their own rule.

Needs to be at least 80 games into the season. Recruit a replacement and send a ticket.

Is it "bad luck"  that he has Jason Murphy, Todd Greenberg, Jimmy Sherman, Chris Reilly, and Miguel De La Rosa all stashed in the minors?  Each of these guys is a major improvement over the ML guy.  Looks like a tank job to me.

I've told him to improve his team asap or I'll send in a ticket at the 80 game mark. Our league is instituting MWR next season also.

open up a ticket now to lay the groundwork. Document the communications with the owner in the ticket. It will be quicker for when you re-open the ticket at the 80 game mark, instead of dealing with any WIS objections now get them to commit to replacing him at the 80 game mark if necessary.

That's about as blatant of a tanker as you'll see when his AAA squad might beat his ML squad, wow.

Just find out where he lives, beat one of his kids(or wife) or kill a pet then leave a note saying "Yeah, I know where you live."    That's what I do.

no, the most blatant tanker is already in that world. I was in that world for 4 or 5 seaasons and bailed because the world was fine with this at the time. I've posted this franchise before.

I've been the commissioner for several seasons and no longer allow tanking to happen. I'm very careful in my recruiting and the owner with the .196 winning pct. never had a history of tanking before he joined this world so I'm a little disappointed in his season.  I'm also instituting MWR of 55/120/190 starting next year  and  the world overwhelmingly approved having MWR.  That said, other than tanking that happened before I joined the world and this 1 other owner - its a very good group of owners. I've very proud of this world.  Any world can have a problem like this - how the commissioner deals with it is what makes good worlds or bad worlds. This is a good world.

You  werent the commissioner when I joined. I think my first season was the first season mark3313 started turning his team around. I had chatted with the old commish and he didnt seem interested in doing anything.

Someone ******* about a couple large contracts i signed in my first season..I got into it with a few owners and asked how my deals were worse for the league than the obvious tank job of that owner.

Basically I stayed long enough for those contracts to expire, and bailed when nothing was done about the tanking.
