1976 JFK League: FILLED! Topic

RULES

16 teams in 4 divisions. Unlimited keepers. 40 minimum Live games for playoffs and bottom-3 lottery which also requires a 35-win minimum. Postseason teams pick at the end of each round depending on postseason results. Picks 4 to 12 are according to total regular-season record. All postseason must be played Live. Average AAA, 6 hitters and 4 pitchers. DH at AL parks, pitcher bats in NL parks. No WW. No clones. Trades are allowed; as of the 1975-76 offseason, you may trade 1976 picks as well as those from 1977, but may not trade 1978 picks until the offseason following 1976. Expansion to 20 teams is scheduled for 1981, with 15 keepers just for that season and a yet-to-be-determined number of pullbacks after a player is taken in the expansion draft. A final expansion to 24 teams (which will see 6 divisions and 2 wild cards) is scheduled for 1993.

this detroit team won 90+ games...
and the KC team is a .500 club that could be a lot better if someone actually managed them.

you should take one of them.

The starting pitching for Detroit is almost unfair. Kansas City has contended every year that I have been in the league (since 1970).

KC has an excellent pen and a diverse lineup. Randy Jones is in his best season. The league is full if someone takes them already.

As an added incentive, you may move the team to Cleveland, Milwaukee, Texas, or Oakland, or wait a year and then move it to Toronto or Seattle starting with 1977. Team would be in the AL West regardless.
