RP overperforming? Topic

I play in a pretty pitching friendly ballpark. I have a RP that I kind of get the feeling that he's over-performing. Would you expect him to keep up his 1.29 WHIP and 3.26 ERA?  He's only has 2 years of ML experience, so he's under team control for a while yet. Would you hang on to him for a while yet, or would you trade him while he's got some value.  What would you expect to get in return?

If this player was available for Olmeda, would you do the the deal?  Ask for more?  I lost my CF in Free Agency this offseason and need a replacement. I have a platoon for him so he'd sit against LHP.

Id do it, a CF is tougher to come by than a RP.  And you're giving up a RP who isnt great against lefties, no velocity , with one strong pitch.

Robbins might not be that awful against LHP either.  He has excellent contact, speed and baserunning and a decent batting eye to fall back on

Sure I'ld do it.  A 70 inning decent reliever is worth having around, but can be found fairly easily (although you'll have to wait in the FA period to get a good deal).

Robbins isn't great, but he'll get on base decently against RHP and he's a very nice CF/2B glove.  He has value.

Interestingly, Olmeda's 2nd season was better than his first, if you look at WHIP.  I would think he's a year in and out 1.30 WHIP, 3.60-3.80 ERA guy.  That has some value.  He's decent.
