We have some changes for the new year, including making this a private league so no funny business like we ended up with last year! Once you enter in this thread I will shoot you the league number. Hopefully this fixes last years problem.
Rules:
(1) Pick two franchises, one for all your position players and one for your entire pitching staff. For example, last year our champion used the NY Yankees for his position players and the Los Angeles Dodgers for his pitching staff.
(2) Use only the years 1970 through 2011.
(3) The salary cap is $130 million.
(4) DH is used. Waiver wire and clones are NOT.
(5) You choose your minor leaguers as well. These players must also fit into your team criteria! That means if you have NY Yankee position players then your minor league position players must also be from Yankees. The years matter too - Minor Leaguers must be from 1970 to 2011!
(6) Once we are full I will do a random realignment. HOWEVER, if people would like to enter more than one team I will make sure they are in separate leagues so it might take more than one realignment.
(7) As mentioned above, if you would like to enter more than one team I am fine with this. I will get you in separate leagues.
(8) Unique team combos please. By that I mean only one NY Yankee hitter/LA Dodger pitcher combo. If someone wants the converse (LA Dodger hitter/NY Yankee pitcher) that is cool.
(9) If you want same combo as last year I am fine with that since the years and the salary cap is different. I had the Reds/Red Sox last year and switched to Reds/Mets this year so I did switch, but if you played and want same combo feel free!!
(10) Again, once you reserve your combo I will send you the League Number so you can enter.
