Are you thinking to do this right now for the tiny bump in improvement over the rest of the season? If so, that's not even close to being worth having to start a freshman pg. Hawn will be a very good player, but take care of business first.
(Actually, looking at your roster, it's clear that Clements is your weaker starting guard and you could potentially make an argument for putting Hawn in the lineup instead of him. But not Smith.)
